  4. DESKTOP INSTALLATION (for CommandCE.zip)
  5. 1. Double-Click on Setup.exe
  6. 2. Follow on screen instructions
  7.  
  8. MANUAL INSTALLATION (for CommandCE-MIPS.zip or CommandCE-SH3.zip files):
  9. 1. Copy the CommandCE.exe file to the CE device's \Windows directory, or
  10.     a directory of your choice (i.e. \Program Files\CommandCE).
  11. 2. Copy the CommandCE.htp and CommandCE.htc help files to the CE device's 
  12.     \Windows directory.
  13. 3. Create shortcuts on the desktop and/or in \Windows\Programs for
  14.     CommandCE.  (Tip: You can use CommandCE to do this!)
  15.  
  16. REGISTRATION
  17. Use the register.txt form in the \Program Files\CommandCE directory or
  18. see the Exesoft website at http://www.exesoft.net/cesoftware.shtml

  21. OVERVIEW:
  22. Thank you for trying Exesoft's CommandCE CE file system explorer!
  23. This explorer has the more familiar 95 style interface and includes
  24. features that Windows CE Explorer doesn't have:
  25. - Tree view with moveable splitter bar
  26. - Hide ROM files & modules
  27. - Saves view settings
  28. - Reverse sort
  29. - Keeps last sort order for new sort order
  30.     i.e. sort by "Size" then by "Type" and you get Types by Size
  31. - Invert selection
  32. - View icons in "List" mode
  33. - Directory attributes (if file system supports them)
  34.  
  35. It also includes features that Tascal Explorer (Version 2.0) doesn't have:
  36. - Drag and drop
  37. - Icon views (Large, Small, List)
  38. - File icons
  39. - File type column
  40. - Saves view settings
  41. - Sort by type
  42. - Invert selection
  43. - View options (Hide hidden files, extensions, ROM files, etc.)
